To my friends from Korea

 

The moon is hiding behind the mist of early morning

The birds are still sleeping in the tree,

At this silent moment, my dear friends:

    You see us off with the pity of having no more time with us,

And we bear our sentiment in our heart;

 

My dear friends

We haven’t realized it is time for us to say goodbye,

      We haven’t understand how this feeling came into our minds,

    We even have nothing to help us get out of this sad feeling.

 

My dear friends

We just wave for goodbye, not our feeling for it;

We believe that

The train just take the sentimental autumn away

           but the gentle rains of it can chisel our memories in our heart.

 

My dear friends:

                Though we leave you for a moment, our dreams will be sweet forever.

The mist is still unwilling to remind us of leaving,

With the gentle patting,  you wake us up quietly

                   With the performance of joking, singing, doing the puzzles, and the games,

you make us happy, not sad;

With every dish of delicious food shown in front of us,,

                           you let us moved, no other word can express us except touched

 

My dear friends:

You and me are not in the same country,

                 But a bridge has been built between our hearts----your sincereness

You and me can not see each other everyday,

                But the will of god has been put on our feelings----our friendship

However,

the will of god sometimes plays a joke on us

              it lets the time and distance to separate us from being together,

My dear friends

                     please let our memories of happiness become the photos of your drawer.

It is blue in the sea

Who can tell whether the sky is reflected in the sea or the sea is reflected in the sky?

 

The sea and the sky

Just like you and me,

Far from each other, but being close with our heart

 

My dear friends:

Please believe that we will be together again.

Our hearts with wings can fly over the valleys,

                can touch the brooks

              can seek the grass

And finally, they will be together again.

 

Lingering clouds with our greetings will tell

that we are missing you all the time

My dear friends

Never say goodbye, never say thank you

This is our friendship

My dear friends,

Never forget this

                  Though the sun and the moon take turns to be in charge of the sky,

                   Our friendship will never change though we are separated by the distance.
